I thought I'd end this gallery with a few actual photos taken by U.S. planes during the bombing of Truk that day in 1944. These prints hang in the lobby of the Truk Lagoon Resort. This one is of U.S. bombers, including the photographer's wingman and two other squadrons (one above and another below).
