Bruce Yates lives near Seattle, Washington. As founder and president of Appropriate Balance Financial Services, Inc. , he is an investment manager by trade, but his passion for the underwater realm is reflected in the images on this website.
Bruce is not a professional photographer, but rather a “serious amateur.” Because people have expressed a desire to buy his work, prints are available for purchase on this website (transactions securely handled by Smugmug). All profits from purchases are donated to charity. Bruce's 2007 calendar project raised more than $12,000 for the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation. All profits from prints sold on this site (or purchased in exhibits) this year are going to the Int'l Children's Surgical Foundation.
