Anglerfish (also called frogfish)
This "hairy" (also called "split-lure") frogfish is about 6 inches long. When this photo was taken, he had just finished eating (inhaling!) a small fish that ventured too close. He was making his way over to a hole where another little fish had just been perched, wagging his "lure" over towards the whole as he went. The little fish stayed deep in his hole, so this fellow didn't get his second course, but not for lack of trying!
