Diving at Atlantis ( Puerto Galera) & Aiyanar (Anilao) Resorts

Puerto Galera and Anilao are both known for macro photography (tiny critters), but both places have healthy, beautiful reefs nearby. Especially prominent are crinoids (aka "feather stars"), which--despite looking like flowers--are animals (as are corals, sponges, etc.). I saw more crinoids around Anilao than anywhere else I've ever been--even Indonesia and PNG.

I can count three dozen crinoids in this photo!
