Invasion of the Hammerheads! (Galapagos) This was one of the best dives of my life. We were enjoying watching a squadron of spotted eagle rays circle around a reef-top when suddenly about twenty hammerheads came racing through the scene. This might seem scary, but these scalloped (schooling) hammerheads are not considered dangerous to humans. Still, it was quite the adrenaline rush having 8-10 foot sharks rushing toward us!
