If you look closely, you can see this whale shark's tiny eye "eyeball to eyeball" with the remora on his cheek. For such a huge creature, the size of the eyeball - only a few inches across - seems odd...but is plenty big for their needs. Because they feel/taste the plankton in the water, rather than seeing it, they have little need for huge eyes.
